1111Venice, the Jews and Europe 1516-2016
500 years since the establishment of the Ghetto, the exhibition investigates the process that brought about the world's first "precinct" destined to the Jews. It will also give space to other examples of Jewish and other quarters in Italy and elsewhere in Europe. The exhibitions brings to the core the rich and productive relations between the Jews and the rest of the society over history and, as a community, in the region, in Europe and in the Mediterranean.
Until 13 November at the Doge's Apartment, Palazzo Ducale, St. Mark's Square.
